Escapes Link Club — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Escapes Link Club. These Terms & Conditions govern your membership and use of the Escapes Link website, membership services, member offers, promotions and competitions.

By purchasing or using an Escapes Link Club membership, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About Escapes Link

Escapes Link is a travel membership and promotional platform that connects members with travel inspiration, hotel offers, holiday-home offers, discounts, promotions and other travel opportunities.

Escapes Link may provide links that allow members to access offers and make reservations directly with hotels, holiday-home providers or other third-party travel partners.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, Escapes Link is not the hotel, accommodation provider or travel provider and does not provide the accommodation itself.

2. Escapes Link Club Membership

Escapes Link Club membership costs €0 per year, unless a different price, promotional rate or free membership period is displayed when joining.

Membership is normally valid for 12 months from the date of activation.

Membership provides access to eligible Escapes Link Club benefits, which may include:

- Member-only hotel offers
- Holiday-home offers
- Travel discounts and promotions
- Special hotel packages
- Travel inspiration and recommendations
- Member competitions and promotional prize opportunities
- Other member benefits introduced from time to time

The availability and value of individual offers are not guaranteed and may vary by destination, provider, travel dates and country.

3. Promotional and Free Memberships

Escapes Link may occasionally provide free, discounted or promotional memberships.

The duration and conditions of promotional memberships will be stated when the promotion is offered.

Unless clearly disclosed and agreed to during registration, a free promotional membership will not automatically become a paid membership at the end of the promotional period.

Where renewal is offered, members will be informed of the applicable price and conditions.

4. Membership Renewal

Where membership is sold as a fixed 12-month membership without automatic renewal, it will expire at the end of the membership period unless the member chooses to renew.

If Escapes Link introduces an automatic-renewal option, the renewal price, frequency and cancellation conditions will be clearly disclosed before the member agrees to it.

Members will not be charged for an automatic renewal unless they have agreed to the applicable renewal arrangement.

5. Cancellation and Consumer Rights

Members may have statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights depending on where they live and how the membership was purchased.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict rights that consumers have under applicable law.

Where a statutory cancellation right applies, Escapes Link will process cancellation and any refund due in accordance with applicable consumer law.

6. Hotel Member Offers

Participating hotels may publish special packages, discounts and promotions for Escapes Link members.

Examples may include:

- Bed & Breakfast
- Dinner, Bed & Breakfast
- Weekend breaks
- Spa packages
- Golf packages
- Family breaks
- Discounted accommodation
- Hotel vouchers
- Complimentary upgrades or extras
- Other hotel promotions

Each hotel is responsible for determining the price, availability, validity, restrictions and conditions of its own offer.

7. Booking Directly with Hotels

Some Escapes Link offers contain links to participating hotels or other third-party websites.

When a member follows one of these links and makes a reservation directly with a hotel:

The booking is between the member and the hotel.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the hotel or relevant provider is responsible for:

- Processing the reservation
- Taking payment
- Confirming availability
- Providing the accommodation
- Managing amendments
- Cancellations
- Refunds relating to the hotel booking
- No-show policies
- Hotel-specific terms
- Delivering the advertised hotel services

Members should review the provider's terms and cancellation conditions before completing a reservation.

8. Hotel Vouchers

Where a hotel chooses to offer vouchers through its own website, the voucher is issued and managed by the hotel or identified voucher provider unless expressly stated otherwise.

The hotel determines the voucher's:

- Price
- Inclusions
- Validity period
- Available dates
- Excluded dates
- Redemption procedure
- Cancellation conditions
- Refund conditions

Where an offer states that a voucher is valid for 90 days, members should carefully review the hotel's conditions before purchasing.

Purchase of a voucher does not necessarily guarantee availability for every date within its validity period.

9. Third-Party Websites

Escapes Link may provide links to external websites operated by hotels, holiday-home providers, booking platforms and other travel businesses.

Escapes Link does not control third-party websites.

Prices, availability and information may change after leaving the Escapes Link website.

Members should verify the final price, accommodation details, cancellation conditions and booking terms on the provider's website before making payment.

10. Member Discounts

Member discounts are subject to availability and the individual conditions established for each promotion.

An offer may be:

- Limited to particular dates
- Limited to a particular number of rooms
- Subject to minimum stays
- Unavailable on certain dates
- Changed, withdrawn or sold out
- Limited to members in particular countries

Displaying an offer does not guarantee that it will remain available.

11. Member Competitions & Prizes

Escapes Link may periodically operate competitions, prize promotions or promotional draws for eligible members.

Potential prizes may include hotel stays, holiday-related prizes, travel experiences, vouchers, upgrades or other promotional rewards.

Each competition or promotion will have its own Terms & Conditions.

Those individual terms may specify:

- Eligibility
- Eligible countries
- Minimum age
- Opening and closing dates
- Method of entry
- Prize details
- Selection of winners
- Notification procedure
- Redemption conditions
- Travel restrictions
- Availability
- Taxes or additional expenses
- Any free-entry route where required
- Other legal requirements

Not every competition will necessarily be available in every country.

Membership does not guarantee that a member will win a prize.

Escapes Link may restrict, modify or withdraw a competition where required by law or where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this necessary.

12. Travel Prize Conditions

Unless expressly included in the individual competition rules, a hotel-stay prize does not automatically include:

- Flights
- Airport transfers
- Meals
- Travel insurance
- Spending money
- Visa costs
- Tourism taxes
- Additional guests
- Other travel expenses

The exact inclusions will always be specified in the relevant competition terms.

Winners are responsible for ensuring that they have appropriate passports, visas, insurance and other documentation required for travel.

13. Member Accounts

Members are responsible for keeping their login information secure.

Membership is intended for the registered member and should not be transferred, resold or shared unless Escapes Link expressly allows it.

Escapes Link may suspend or terminate an account where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, abuse, misuse or a serious breach of these Terms.

14. Prices

Membership prices will be displayed before payment.

The standard Escapes Link Club membership is currently €10 for 12 months, unless a different promotional price is clearly displayed.

Travel prices displayed in hotel or partner offers may change and should be confirmed directly with the relevant provider before booking.

15. Availability

Travel offers are subject to availability.

Escapes Link cannot guarantee that a particular hotel, holiday home, destination, discount or promotion will remain available throughout a member's 12-month membership.

New offers may be added and existing offers may expire or be withdrawn.

16. Accuracy of Hotel and Partner Information

Hotels and participating businesses may provide information about their own offers.

They are responsible for ensuring that information they submit is accurate and does not mislead members.

Escapes Link may correct or remove offers that appear inaccurate, expired, misleading or inconsistent with platform requirements.

17. Changes to Escapes Link Club

Escapes Link may develop, improve or change the membership service over time.

We may add or remove features, partners, destinations or offers.

Any changes will be made subject to applicable consumer law, and material changes affecting existing paid memberships will be handled fairly and communicated where required.

18. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful or attempts to exclude a consumer's statutory rights.

Where accommodation or another travel service is booked directly with an independent provider, responsibility for performing that booking rests with the provider according to the contract entered into with the customer.

Escapes Link remains responsible for providing its own membership service in accordance with applicable law.

19. Travel Insurance

Members should consider appropriate travel insurance when making travel arrangements.

Travel insurance is not included with Escapes Link membership unless expressly stated.

20. Privacy

Personal information collected through Escapes Link will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Members should also review the privacy policies of third-party hotels, booking platforms and travel providers before providing personal information to them.

21. Marketing Communications

Where members have provided the necessary consent, Escapes Link may send information about member offers, hotel promotions, competitions and travel opportunities.

Members can unsubscribe from optional marketing communications at any time.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not necessarily cancel an active Escapes Link membership.

22. Intellectual Property

The Escapes Link name, branding, website content and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

They may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without permission.

Third-party hotel names, trademarks, photographs and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.

23. Complaints and Contact

If you have a problem with your Escapes Link membership, please contact Escapes Link directly.

For problems concerning a reservation completed directly with a hotel or third-party travel provider, members should normally contact that provider first.

Escapes Link may assist members with identifying the appropriate provider where reasonably possible.

24. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to Escapes Link's contracting entity and are subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the member's country of residence.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable national or European consumer law.

25. Acceptance

By joining Escapes Link Club, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
